Delta High School Storybook

The elements of STEM are woven into every subject at Delta High School. Reflecting their importance in today's world, Delta students engage in inquiry-, problem-, and project-based learning and learn how to learn. Students have opportunities to incorporate their individual passions, experiences, and talents into their work. Supported by a rigorous curriculum and a dedicated staff, students at Delta learn together and from each other. They develop academic and personal skills by understanding how they learn best, working in teams, and producing high-quality outcomes. Delta High School has a rigorous and relevant STEM-focused program of study based on research from How People Learn from the National Research Council that seeks to prepare each student for career, college, and life success in a changing world.

Delta High School is supported by the Washington STEM Education Foundation, Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco School Districts, Columbia Basin College, Washington State University Tri-Cities, Battelle, and the Tri-Cities community.
