PNNL Internships for Undergraduate Students

PNNL's Human Resources University Recruiting office also manages internships for college-level students.

Current Undergraduate Students

To be considered for an internship, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university;
  • have a GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale;
  • be 18 years of age regardless of education level; and
  • email your resume in Microsoft Word format to university.recruiter@pnl.gov

Once your resume is received, we will put your information into a system that will email you when a job is posted that matches your background and interests. You will then be able to go to that job posting and submit your resume to be considered for that particular position.

Housing: Appointees must make their own housing arrangements, however, PNNL has ample resources to assist appointees with accomplishing this task. PNNL's on-site dormitory, The Guest House, is extremely well-suited for visiting students, and is located within walking distance of most PNNL facilities. Here are some other links to local housing information: Tri-City Herald and craigslist.

You can find additional information and resources on our University Recruiting homepage. There is even a link to a document that gives you tips for writing an effective resume.
