Siemens Teachers as Researchers (STARs)
Teachers selected to participate in the the Siemens Teachers as Researchers (STARs) program may be placed at PNNL for their research experience. STARs is a 2-week summer research experience for aspiring science and mathematics teachers.

July 8 to July 20, 2012
Stipend:
$500
Housing and Relocation Support:
STARs provides:
- Paid travel (airline flights or up to $500 round-trip mileage reimbursement)
- Paid lodging
- Paid meals
- Paid entrance fees for field trips and cultural activities
- $300 mini-grant to purchase equipment and/or supplies for your classroom
